Step inside and be greeted by a cozy yet modern atmosphere, perfect for a casual catch-up or a sweet escape from the day-to-day hustle. The menu features a range of offerings, from their famous Choc Frappes—available in Milk, Dark, or White chocolate—to scrumptious all-day breakfast options such as the Chocolate Croissant and new Chocolate Hazelnut Muffin.
One standout item is the newly introduced Crepe Cake with Biscoff Spread. It features soft layers of delicate crepes topped with the irresistible flavor of Biscoff. Other limited-time offerings like the Waffle with Biscoff Spread elevate the dessert experience to new heights, served generously with vanilla ice cream and drizzles of rich chocolate.
Customer reviews highlight the rich taste and quality of the desserts but also note that some items might not meet expectations in terms of presentation. For instance, while the molten chocolate cake received raving reviews for its flavor, a few patrons felt it lacked the molten center they anticipated. Nevertheless, the commitment to using quality ingredients, such as real vanilla ice cream instead of syrups, continues to earn the brand loyal followers.
Max Brenner - QV not only excels in desserts but also offers a wide variety of beautifully crafted hot chocolates and signature drinks, including the beloved Hot Choc Surprise. Whether it’s a cozy drink in one of their iconic hug mugs or a delicious dessert to share, each visit promises something delightful.
Overall, Max Brenner - QV stands out as a joyful destination for all chocolate enthusiasts in Melbourne. With a friendly staff and a clean, inviting atmosphere, it's a perfect spot to indulge in your chocolate dreams and make new sweet memories.
“ Haven't been to Max Brenner in a really long time but came here once quiet Sunday afternoon to get dessert. I ordered the molten chocolate cake, which while not very molten, was still delicious and the ice cream serving was generous. Paired with the vanilla milkshake it went down a treat. They clearly use good quality vanilla ice cream and not the artificial vanilla syrup. Service was okay, and price wise it's a little expensive for what it is. ”
“ Loved this place so much. The hot chocolates were so delicious and I loved the hugmugs so much, I actually purchased one to take home! ”
“ We just ordered a piece of cake, and it surprisingly took 10mins to serve even it’s ready in the fridge - all they need to do is to take it out. Cake was just ok, not very rich chocolate taste, walnut inside as well which is a plus. ”
“ I’ve always loved Max Brenner and their chocolate creations! I went and tried their new cinnamon scroll range and it was delicious. I loved how it’s a chocolatey twist on an amazing creation. They have crepes, waffles and pancakes and also a chai hot chocolate. Great store in a great location. Very tidy and clean. Helpful friendly staff as well ”
“ Great spot for chocolate lovers! We tried the Max Brenner Mocha, and it was absolutely delicious. They also sell a range of chocolate products you can buy and take home. However, the Hot Choc Surprise didn't live up to out expectations. ”
“ Wonderful place. The staff is very talented and friendly. It's a family environment. The sweetness of your menu is immediately felt. Very well located. Gracias! ”
“ Visited Max Brenner for a treat and went with the Tutti Frutti waffle — delicious as always, but the price was a bit of a shock. One waffle is now $23.99 and two for $27.99… definitely a big hole in the pocket compared to previous years. We ended up sharing a single between two of us. The indoor and outdoor seating is still decent, but affordability has definitely taken a hit. Great for the occasional indulgence, but no longer a regular spot. ”
